Context
Come experience one of the most ancient civilizations on earth, a culture so rich and exotic it can’t help but fill the senses and fire the imagination. Sure, there’s a wealth of history and tradition here and, yes, your kids will return home knowing more than you - or they - ever thought.
But on our eleven days’ family and fun vacations to China, learning comes naturally - practicing the art of Taiji, walking the famous wall, making dumplings in a traditional Chinese home, experiencing Li River Cruise and enjoying the scenic river and Chinese mountains. Did we mention kite flying and exploring one of the world’s most intriguing archaeological sites? Did we also mention paper cutting and painting with local farmers? Interact with the locals: dine with a family in their home; visit the classrooms of the next generation of Chinese artists; and meet with the people of a local village. While your children prepare for the trip, they might like to learn about life in China by corresponding with all locals.
