Canada Swan Travel successfully hosted the Tibetan Top Government Officials in September 2003. This delegation consisted of eight chief government officials, which was led by Chairman Nima. They arrived in Vancouver on Sept 15 and stayed for 11 days. They met the officials of the Canada Agricultural Department and the government of BC in the morning of Sept 16, and hosted a news conference in the Radisson Hotel in the afternoon. Many government officials, businessmen and news reporters attended the conference that made them more familiar with Tibet. Many of the attending businessmen showed interests in investing in Tibet. The delegation met the head of the United Chinese Community Enrichment Services Society and visited a livestock facility. They went to Victoria to meet the officials of Canada Forestry Department on Sept 18. The delegation left for Calgary to hold trade talk about cooperative projects. In their free time, they met with the president of Canada Swan Travel and signed cooperative contracts with Canada Swan Travel to build future tourism and business delegation opportunities for Canada and Tibet.
